Taxonomy
Antoniocoscinus sardicus was named by Perejon et al. (2000). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Porto di Canal Grande, Planu Sartu buildups, which is in a Botomian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Planu Sartu Formation of Italy.
