Acrilla gallica was named by de Boury (1887) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; western Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Scala gallica by Morellet and Morellet (1945); it was recombined as Amaea (Acrilla) gallica by Pacaud and Le Renard (1995).
