Aturia laticlavia

Aturia (Brazaturia) laticlavia was named by Stenzel (1935) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle Eocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is BEG 20900, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bald Mound , which is in a Lutetian shoreface marl in the Weches Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Aturia laticlavia by Miller (1947) and Palmer and Brann (1965).
