Taxonomy
Thuleproductus crassauritus was named by Sarycheva and Waterhouse (1972). Its type specimen is GSC 26374 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Melville Island Unspecified, Nunavut, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Trold Fiord Formation of Canada.
