Taxonomy
Trigonotreta dickinsi was named by Archbold and Thomas (1986). Its type specimen is CPC24370, a valve (Dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR KNF73, Bruten's Old Yard, Cherrabun Station, which is in an Artinskian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Noonkanbah Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Koenigoria dickinsi by Waterhouse (2004).
