Kotlaia aethopa
Taxonomy
Kotlaia aethopa was named by Grant (1993). Its type specimen is USNM 402104, a shell (Articulated specimen), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM9592, Agrelias 2, Chios, which is in a Roadian open shallow subtidal bindstone in the Gymnocodiacean Limestone Formation of Greece.
It was recombined as Acosarina aethopa by Shen and Clapham (2009).
