Taxonomy
Echinalosia robusta was named by Briggs (1998). Its type specimen is UQF 75235, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L5137, Bow-Wow Creek, which is in a Wordian marine siltstone in the Belford Formation of Australia.
