Eutrephoceras sloani
Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras sloani was named by Reeside (1924) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; South Carolina.]. Its type specimen is USNM 352528, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Perkins Bluff, which is in a Danian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Rhems Formation of South Carolina.
