Litocothia cateora
Taxonomy
Litocothia cateora was named by Grant (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 212579, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM9271, Block 9, Ko Muk Island northeast, which is in a Roadian offshore shelf limestone in the Rat Buri Formation of Thailand. It is the type species of Litocothia.
