Liosotella subquadrata
Taxonomy
Avonia subquadrata was named by Cloud (1944). Its type specimen is YPM S-2716-2717 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is King 9, Bed 2, La Difunta Section, Las Delicias, which is in a Capitanian marine shale/limestone in Mexico.
It was recombined as Liosotella subquadrata by Torres-MartÃnez et al. (2019).
