Attenuatella attenuata
Taxonomy
Crurithyris attenuata was named by Cloud (1944). Its type specimen is YPM S-2745 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is King 20, Beds 5,7, Cerro Wencelao to El Indio, Las Delicias, which is in a Capitanian marine shale/limestone in the La Difunta Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Attenuatella attenuata by Stehli (1954) and Cooper and Grant (1976).
