Taxonomy
Bilotina yanagidai was named by Angiolini (1999). Its type specimen is MPUM 8457, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haushi Uplift OL28, Section 7, which is in a Wordian offshore limestone in the Khuff Formation of Oman.
