Waterhouseiella simulata
Taxonomy
Chonetes (Plicochonetes) simulata was named by Reed (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Scarp slopes NW of Bilot, Trans-Indus Range, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian marine horizon in Pakistan.
It was recombined as Plicochonetes simulata by Termier et al. (1974); it was recombined as Waterhouseiella simulata by Archbold (1983).
