Collemataria venezuelensis
Taxonomy
Collemataria venezuelensis was named by Hoover (1981). Its type specimen is USNM 221269, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Block A, mule trail between El Portachuelo and Mucuchachi, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Palmarito Formation of Venezuela.
