Taxonomy
Dyschrestia takelamaganensis was named by Chen and Shi (2006). Its type specimen is Tohoku Univ IGPS108733. Its type locality is Qipan River section, Bed 8, AET 902, Qipan Formation, Tarim Basin, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in the Qipan Formation of China.
