Polypora transiens
Taxonomy
Polypora transiens was named by Waagen and Pichl (1885). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Morah, hard limestones, Middle Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Protoretepora transiens by Termier and Termier (1971).
