Epicelia episcopiensis

Taxonomy
Epicelia episcopiensis was named by Grant (1972). Its type specimen is USNM 169751, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM9260, Episkopi, Hydra Island, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine packstone/wackestone in the Episkopi Formation of Greece. It is the type species of Epicelia.
