Xenosteges adherens
Taxonomy
Xenosteges adherens was named by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 124128b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM702, Split Tank, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Xenosteges.
