Taxonomy
Rhamnaria kingorum was named by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960). Its type specimen is USNM 124072b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM706e, Hess Canyon, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Word Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Rhamnaria.
