Taxonomy
Productus schucherti was named by King (1931). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is R.E. King 120, Clay Slide, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in Texas.
It was recombined as Xestosia schucherti by Cooper and Grant (1975).
