Peniculauris transversa
Taxonomy
Peniculauris transversa was named by Cooper and Grant (1975). Its type specimen is USNM 148835a, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM702c, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian slope/ramp reef limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
