Polymorpharia polymorpha

Taxonomy
Polymorpharia polymorpha was named by Cooper and Grant (1975). Its type specimen is USNM 149449s, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM706, Hess Canyon, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Word Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Polymorpharia.
