Martinia martinezi
Taxonomy
Pseudomartinia martinezi was named by Cooper (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 115565 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM806h, Cerros de los Monos, El Antimonio, Sonora, which is in a Wordian marine limestone in the Antimonio Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Martinia martinezi by Waterhouse (1964), Waterhouse (1976) and Cooper and Grant (1976).
