Paraschizodus elongatus

Taxonomy
Paraschizodus elongatus was named by Newell and Boyd (1975). Its type specimen is AMNH 29173, a valve (Right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH3113, Baldwin Creek, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal packstone in the Park City Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Paraschizodus.
