Taxonomy
Nuculopsis salebrosus was named by Dembskaja (1972). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Adz'vinskoe Coalfield, Well SDK-75, 460 m, Pechora Basin, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Lekvorkuta Formation of the Russian Federation.
