Stutchburia costata
Taxonomy
Orthonota costata was named by Morris (1845). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Illawarra (Strzelecki coll), which is in a Wordian coastal siliciclastic in the Gerringong Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Cardinia costata by Dana (1849); it was recombined as Sanguinolites costatus by Muromtseva and Guskov (1984); it was recombined as Stutchburia costata by Laseron (1910), Wass and Banks (1971), Waterhouse (1980), Waterhouse (1987), Waterhouse (1988), Biakov (2019) and Prinoth and Posenato (2023).
