Taxonomy
Meandrostylis grandiseptus was named by Stanley and Whalen (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Spring Creek, Hells Canyon, which is in a Lacian perireef or subreef limestone in the Martin Bridge Limestone Formation of Oregon.
