Taxonomy
Productus curvatus was named by Tolmatchew (1912).

It was recombined as Cancrinella curvata by Kashirtsev (1959); it was recombined as Stepanoviella curvata by Ustritsky and Chernyak (1963) and Nakamura et al. (1987); it was recombined as Cancrinelloides curvatus by Sarycheva (1977) and Abramov and Grigorieva (1988).
