Taxonomy
Daixites antipovi was named by Ruzhentsev (1950). Its type specimen is PIN 319/129, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aidaralash Creek, outcrop 11, bed 5, which is in an Asselian marine limestone in Kazakhstan.
