Stenoscisma gigantea
Taxonomy
Camarophoria gigantea was named by Diener (1897). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Chitichun No. 1 Block (1892 collection), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in China.
It was recombined as Camarophoria purdoni gigantea by Diener (1903); it was recombined as Stenoscisma giganteum by Termier et al. (1974); it was recombined as Stenoscisma gigantea by Zhang and Jin (1976), Lee and Gu (1980), Li et al. (1986) and Shen et al. (2000).
