Taxonomy
Dyschrestia colemani was named by Archbold (1984). Its type specimen is AMF38446, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Minilya River, Wandagee Station (AM coll), which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Wandagee Formation of Australia.
