Lialosia kimberleyensis
Taxonomy
Strophalosia kimberleyensis was named by Prendergast (1943). Its type specimen is UWA 20452, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Lialosia.
It was recombined as Strophalosia (Heteralosia) kimberleyensis by Coleman (1957); it was recombined as Lialosia kimberleyensis by Muir-Wood and Cooper (1960) and Archbold (1987).
