Taxonomy
Euphemites aequisulcatus was named by Chronic (1952). Its type specimen is Mus. N. Ariz. G2.1606 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Rimmy Jim Tank, Kaibab Formation, Coconino County, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.
