Lacunospira alta
Taxonomy
Lacunospira alta was named by Batten (1958). Its type specimen is USNM 133345b and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM702, Split Tank, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Lacunospira.
