Ananias ootomaria
Taxonomy
Ananias ootomaria was named by Batten (1989) [? = Ootomaria Batten 1973 p. 600 (faunal list for the Getaway Limestone member of the Cherry Canyon formation).]. Its type specimen is USNM 431548, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM707e, Sullivan Peak, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
