Taxonomy
Enteletes dumblei was named by Girty (1908). Its type specimen is USNM 27993 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 3764a green, Diablo Mountains, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Hueco Formation of Texas.
