Lekiskochiton fornicis
Taxonomy
Lekiskochiton fornicis was named by Hoare and Smith (1984). Its type specimen is USNM 330863, a valve (Tail valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM726d, Hess Canyon, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Lekiskochiton.
