Chauliochiton knighti

Taxonomy
Chauliochiton knighti was named by Hoare and Smith (1984). Its type specimen is USNM 330882, a valve (Intermediate valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM725d, Hill 4402, Baylor Mountains, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bone Spring Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Chauliochiton.
