Anisopyge perannulata

Taxonomy
Phillipsia perannulata was named by Shumard (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White limestone of the Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Anisopyge.

It was recombined as Anisopyge perannulata by Girty (1908), Brezinski (1992) and Sour-Tovar et al. (2016).
