Taxonomy
Straparollus (Euomphalus) levicarinatus was named by Yochelson (1956). Its type specimen is AMNH 27936:1 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is AMNH512, Guadalupe Pass, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Cherry Canyon Formation of Texas.
