Omphalotrochus spinosus
Taxonomy
Omphalotrochus spinosus was named by Yochelson (1956). Its type specimen is AMNH 27941:1 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is AMNH628, Victorio Canyon, Sierra Diablo, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bone Spring Formation of Texas.
