Discotropis sulcifer
Taxonomy
Euomphalus sulcifer was named by Girty (1908). Its type specimen is USNM 119153 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM707e, Sullivan Peak, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Discotropis sulcifer by Yochelson (1956) and Quiroz-Barroso et al. (2021).
