Pegoasterella pompom
Taxonomy
Pegoasterella pompom was named by Blake and Koniecki (2020). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PRIP UI-X-4935. Its type locality is quarries east of Wagon Wheel Airport, which is in a Rocklandian sand shoal carbonate in the Guttenberg Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Pegoasterella.
