Costatumulus polliciformis
Taxonomy
Cancrinella polliciformis was named by Waterhouse (1978). Its type specimen is UQF 68906, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is W1275, Section 13, Popagaon, Karnali, which is in a Changhsingian marine siliciclastic in the Senja Formation of Nepal.
It was recombined as Coolkilella polliciformis by Waterhouse and Chen (2007); it was recombined as Costatumulus polliciformis by Shen et al. (2003), Li et al. (2012), Shen et al. (2016) and Xu et al. (2018).
