Taxonomy
Cleiothyridellina accoliformis was named by Waterhouse (1978). Its type specimen is UQF 68931 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is W1267, Karnali Unspecified, which is in a Changhsingian marine siliciclastic in the Senja Formation of Nepal.
It was recombined as Cleiothyridina accoliformis by Williams et al. (2002).
