Taxonomy
Reticulariina hueconiana was named by Cooper and Grant (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 153141j, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS 16685, Montoya, which is in an Artinskian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Hueco Canyon Formation of Texas.
