Timorina schuchertensis

Taxonomy
Notothyris schuchertensis was named by Girty (1908). Its type specimen is USNM 118581, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2926 green, Capitan Peak, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Timorina schuchertensis by Cooper and Grant (1976).
