Calliasterella mirus
Taxonomy
Calliaster mirus was named by Trautschold (1879). Its type specimen is Lectotype unnumbered, PIN, Moskow and is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Calliasterella.
It was recombined as Calliasterella mira by Schuchert (1914), Schuchert (1915), Owen (1965) and Gale (2011); it was recombined as Calliasterella mirus by Blake (2018).
