Cooperoceras texanum
Taxonomy
Cooperoceras texanum was named by Miller (1945). Its type specimen is USNM 111621 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM706e, Hess Canyon, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Word Formation of Texas.
