Antronaria mesicostalis

Taxonomy
Pugnoides mesicostalis was named by Girty (1929). Its type specimen is USNM 152852a, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North Apache Canyon, Sierra Diablo, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Bone Spring Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Antronaria mesicostalis by Cooper and Grant (1976).
